Duncan Muchangi is a technology entrepreneur, operator, and investor with over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, spanning Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship Development, Fintech, and E-commerce. He is currently the Principal at Unicorn Growth Capital, a VC firm investing in the future of FinTech in Africa where he leads investments and supports to scale their businesses across Africa.

Before joining Unicorn Growth Capital, Duncan served as Director at Antler East Africa, a global early-stage VC and an advisor at Seedstars, a global impact investment fund focused on emerging markets. Previously, Duncan was a Managing Director at Jumia Group where he led the launch and scaling up of Africa’s first Unicorn across various countries. At Jumia Pay, he led the launch of various Fintech products in Africa. He also launched and managed Jumia’s online food delivery business, Jumia Food, in Rwanda & Kenya. Duncan has a Masters of Science (MSc) in Finance, Accounting & Management from Bradford University School of Management and a BSc. Electronic & Computer Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology in Kenya.
