Jason Marshall

COO Yellow Card

Jason Marshall is a seasoned operations leader with decades of experience in the Financial Technology industry. Currently he serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Yellow Card.

Before Yellow Card he was the Managing Director of a small venture capital firm where he evaluated and invested in early stage technology start-ups.

Jason has previously served as an unpaid advisor to a pre-revenue FinTech startup founded by a couple of talented college students. After a few years of advising and watching this startup develop, Jason joined Yellow Card as Chief Operating Officer.

The American-born son of a single mother from Honduras, Jason grew up in Section 8 Housing in Dallas. Much of his career in FinTech and payments has centered around using technology to provide financial services solutions to underserved communities. Jason was Senior Director, Payments Services at Walmart and Vice President at both InComm and First Data. Jason has worked on initiatives in Mexico, Canada, UK, China, India and, with Yellow Card, across Africa.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M-Commerce and a MBA from Yale University.
