Olufemi believes increased credit penetration has a role to play in the development of Africa. However, with credit penetration currently at 13%, there is an opportunity to create more value by building an infrastructure that makes credit more accessible to the average African consumer. 

 

Olufemi founded VeendHQ in 2021,  helped lenders reduce risk and disburse $13m in 2021. VeendHQ enables financial institutions to embed credit easily into various ecosystems scalably and profitably.

 

Financial institutions have disbursed more than $20m and served more than 300k consumers on VeendHQ.
