Toffene Kama is an operator turned VC. Started two companies: one of the first token based cross-border remittance and a sophisticated dispatching platform for Mass Transit in partnership with MasterCard East Africa.
Former head of Mobile Money for Milicom. Former Head of Product for Chamapesa (earlier blockchain for African rotating credit saving groups). Worked on various blockchain, more recently ICP where i helped design the ICP-Bitcoin Integration and build the launchpads for the ICP Apps.
Background in Telecom (Alcatel-Lucent, Redknee) having lived and managed products and teams in about 11 countries across West, East, Central and Southern Africa.
